From Cairo: Aswan & Luxor Nile Cruise and Hot Air Balloon 5-Day Tour - Flights Included

Day 1 Explore the Giza Pyramids
and the Egyptian Museum in Cairo

Meet your representative at the airport to start your trip. First, head to the Giza Pyramids, the only surviving wonder of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and enjoy the camel ride included in the tour. Then visit the Egyptian Museum with a professional guide to see the treasures of Tutankhamun, mummies, jewelry and more.

After the visit, enjoy an Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant and transfer to your hotel in Cairo. In the evening, you will be picked up again for dinner on a Nile cruise boat, then return to the hotel for the night.

Day 2 Fly to Aswan
and visit a Nubian village

After breakfast and check-out, transfer to the airport for your flight to Aswan. The operator will send the flight schedule depending on availability. In Aswan, a representative will meet you with a sign. Take a motorboat along the Nile to the colorful Nubian village, where you will have lunch. Afterwards, board your cruise ship in Aswan for dinner and an overnight stay.

Days 3-4 Visit Abu Simbel and the temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu

Early on day 3, drive about 3 hours to the Abu Simbel temples of Ramesses II and Queen Nefertari. Return to the ship for lunch on board and sail along the Nile, then visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile-headed god Sobek and the falcon-headed god Horus, with your guide.

Early on day 4, ride a horse carriage with your guide to the Temple of Horus at Edfu. After the visit, return to the ship and sail toward Luxor.

Day 5 Ride a hot air balloon over Luxor
and visit the Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple

Early in the morning, take a hot air balloon ride and see Luxor from above. Return to the ship for breakfast and check-out, then visit the Valley of the Kings with its 63 royal tombs, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon, the giant statues of Amenhotep III. Finish at Karnak Temple, then transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo. On arrival in Cairo, a driver will take you to your accommodation in Cairo or Giza.
