The shop is a detached Japanese-style house with a Japanese garden, making it a great spot for kimono photos. When you arrive, staff confirm your booking and guide you in choosing a kimono. With more than 1,000 kimono sets available, please choose one that matches the option you booked. Plus sizes are available, and professional stylists provide one-on-one assistance.

Get dressed and styled at the shop

Once you choose your kimono, staff help you put it on, which takes about 10 to 15 minutes. After dressing, a stylist creates a basic hairstyle in the hair styling area, which takes about 5 to 10 minutes. Complex hairstyles cost extra, so if you want one, please purchase the service when booking.

Walk around Kiyomizu-dera and Yasaka Shrine

The shop is close to sights such as Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Yasaka Shrine, so you can start sightseeing after just a 2 to 3-minute walk. Luggage storage is available at the shop, so you can explore light.

Capture your kimono look with a photo package

If you booked a photo package, first finish choosing and putting on your kimono at the shop, then wait for the photographer. The shoot is scheduled to start about 2 hours after you arrive at the shop. For example, if you arrive at 11:00 AM, you will meet the photographer around 1:00 PM. Each photographer works with groups of up to 4 people.
