Paddle a kayak across the tranquil lakes of Shanghai Bay Forest Park in Fengxian. Spend about 2.5 hours gliding over water surrounded by towering metasequoia trees for a true 'floating forest' experience, then finish with a dinner of local Fengxian specialties. Beginners are welcome after a short briefing, and with a maximum of 6 participants you get personal guidance from the instructor. Round-trip transportation from the metro station, kayaking equipment and park admission are all included.

Program

Meet at Wangyuan Road Station
and head to Bay Forest Park

Meet at Wangyuan Road Station on Metro Line 5 at 1:00 PM and travel to the park. The group departs on time, so please arrive punctually. After arriving at the park around 2:00 PM, you will receive a safety briefing and a kayaking tutorial.

Paddle on a lake among metasequoia forests

From 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM, spend about 2.5 hours kayaking on calm lakes surrounded by metasequoia trees, with breaks and photo opportunities along the way. No previous experience is needed, as the instructor gives a simple introduction.

Enjoy a dinner of local Fengxian specialties

Around 5:30 PM, head to a well-rated local restaurant for dinner. Free-range chicken and seasonal freshwater fish dishes are recommended. After dinner, return to Wangyuan Road Station at around 6:30 PM.
