Shanghai Private Tech Tour: Driverless Taxi, Drone Food Delivery & Robot Dogs with Hotel Pickup

Discover Shanghai's future tech
with a professional English guide

Your English-speaking guide picks you up from your downtown Shanghai hotel, takes you to three experience locations in turn, and drops you off anywhere you like in the city center after the tour. You travel between locations by taxi or DiDi, and transport costs are included. Your guide provides commentary and interpretation so technical details are easy to understand.

Ride a driverless taxi through downtown Shanghai

Start the day with a ride in a self-driving taxi. Experience firsthand how autonomous vehicles operate on Shanghai's busy real-world streets.

Taste local food delivered by drone

Next, receive and taste local delicacies delivered directly by a flying drone. Drone delivery depends on the weather and same-day no-fly zones, and may be canceled in rain or strong wind.

If the drone delivery is canceled, you can choose to continue the tour with other experiences such as watching a robot make coffee and a local food tasting at another nearby location, cancel only the drone food delivery part for a full refund of that portion, or cancel the entire tour before it starts for a full refund.

Meet humanoid robots and robot dogs

Finally, interact with humanoid robots and robot dogs from well-known Chinese robotics brands and see how robots and AI are woven into everyday life in Shanghai.

※ The experiences take place at three locations in Shanghai, so travel time is needed between them.
※ Drone food delivery may not take place depending on weather conditions and airspace restrictions.
