Interesting and enjoyable. But it would have been really good to have more information about the region and it’s history and lifestyle etc. The guide could speak reasonable English but most of the travelers were from other Asian countries.

It was a great tour! our guide ken was really well spoken and charming. It was really nice listening to him. the tour was perfectly paced, we didn't spend too much time on the attractions which tends to annoy me personally in most tours. this one was perfect. recommend for everyone

This tour was wonderful and the landscapes were absolutely beautiful. The flower fields at Farm Tomita were spectacular, and the Blue Pond looked magical. However, the only downside was the scheduling: we could not see the waterfalls near the Blue Pond due to the short stay. It would be much better to spend more time there and perhaps less time at the other locations to avoid rushing. Our tour guide was incredibly professional, friendly, and ready to help at any moment, making the experience very pleasant.

We had a wonderful day! Our Guide Lin was very dedicated to show us the beautiful sights of central Hokkaido. Thank you so much! ♡ We were a bit anxious about the time frames for each spot, but everything was well timed, so we could enjoy each stop to the fullest - as well, as the soft serve ice cream at each spot! The sight seeing spots weren't very crowded, just the blue pond was a bit more stressful, a bit more time here would have helped, but it was beautiful nevertheless! Thank you so much for the great experience, all the side facts and infos, and for your dedication! We would love to come again! ♡

Great tour of Blue Pond & Farmlands. Each stop was timed perfectly, with enjoying the sights, eating & shopping. We certainly got a bang for our buck on this tour!! Highly recommended!!

This day tour takes you by bus from Sapporo to see the flower fields and countryside of Furano and Biei in a single day. See the mysteriously turquoise Blue Pond and the quilt-like scenery of the Patchwork Road, then stroll through the hillside flower fields of Shikisai-no-Oka (admission included). At Farm Tomita, Furano's most famous flower farm, browse the lavender fields and seasonal flowers and try lavender ice cream. Choose to depart from either Sapporo TV Tower or Sapporo Tokyu REI Hotel.

Depart from Sapporo to see
the flowers and scenery of Furano and Biei

Depending on your option, meet at 7:50 AM at the tourist information center on the 1st floor of Sapporo TV Tower or at 7:40 AM in the main lobby of Sapporo Tokyu REI Hotel. Check in with the staff holding a white [EasyGo] flag, then travel about 2.5 hours by bus to Biei. In Biei, drive along the Patchwork Road for about 10 minutes, where rolling hills are covered with flower fields and farmland.

Explore the mysterious turquoise Blue Pond

Spend about 30 minutes exploring the Blue Pond in Shirogane at your own pace. The surrounding trees are reflected in the sparkling turquoise water, creating a surreal scene, and the color seems to change with the light.

Walk through the rainbow-like flower fields of Shikisai-no-Oka

At Shikisai-no-Oka, spend about an hour strolling through flower fields that stretch across the hills. Depending on the season, you can see sunflowers, salvia and many other flowers, making it a great photo spot. Admission is included. Afterward, take about an hour for lunch at a local restaurant in Furano. Lunch is not included, but you can buy a simple Japanese set meal at the restaurant.

Stroll through the lavender fields of Farm Tomita

Finally, spend about an hour at Farm Tomita, one of Furano's most famous flower farms. Lavender fields and seasonal flowers spread over the gentle hills, filled with blooms and fragrance from late spring through summer. You can also try the popular lavender ice cream. Then return to Sapporo, about 2.5 hours by bus.
