and set off in search of wildlife
The tour picks up guests at designated hotels and the train station in Banff. Departure times vary by season between 2:00 and 6:30 p.m. Your local guide adjusts the day's itinerary based on recent wildlife sightings and weather conditions, so no two tours are the same.
Your guide, trained in photography and storytelling, shares Banff's history and fun stories about the area along the way.
Capture the views at Lake Minnewanka and Two Jack Lake

Spend about 15 minutes at Lake Minnewanka, the largest lake in Banff National Park, and about 5 minutes at nearby Two Jack Lake taking photos and enjoying the scenery. The lakeshores are also frequented by wildlife, so keep an eye out for animals along the way.
Stop at Bow Falls, Surprise Corner and the Mt. Norquay viewpoint

Spend about 10 minutes at the Surprise Corner viewpoint and about 15 minutes at Bow Falls, capturing Banff's signature views. Depending on the day's route, you also visit the Hoodoos, the Mt. Norquay viewpoint and local hidden gems known to your guide.
Look for animals as you travel through wildlife habitat

Have your camera ready as you travel along wildlife corridors known for bears, elk, deer, coyotes, foxes and bighorn sheep. Water refills are provided, and in winter, hot drinks such as hot chocolate, coffee and tea plus sweet treats are served.
※ Wildlife lives in the wild, so sightings are not guaranteed. Bears usually hibernate from November to April.
※ Stops and their order may change depending on wildlife sightings and weather.
