Buses run about every 20 minutes, and you can start the tour at any Green Line stop. An onboard audio guide provides commentary about the city as you ride.

The Green Line departs from Piazza dei Cinquecento and stops near Rome's top sights, including the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, the Colosseum, the Circus Maximus, Piazza Venezia, the Vatican, Villa Borghese and Piazza Barberini. Admire ancient Roman monuments and the Baroque and Renaissance buildings of the historic center from the bus, and hop off wherever you like to explore on foot.
