Walk through Rome's historic center, with more than 2,000 years of history, with a small group, pausing at places most people hurry past to hear the stories tied to them. The route is walked at night, away from the heat and crowds.

Find clues with a ghost hunting kit

You'll receive an interactive "ghost hunting kit" and learn from your "ghost hunter guide" how to recognize signs of ghosts and follow clues. Rather than just listening, you take part as the route unfolds.

Walk from Piazza Farnese to Castel Sant'Angelo

You'll spend about 15 minutes at each stop, including Piazza Farnese, Ponte Sisto, Fontana del Mascherone and Santa Maria dell'Orazione e Morte. At eerie spots such as a chapel decorated with human bones and a bridge where the dead were once displayed, hear tales of murder, mystery and revenge through vivid storytelling and video reenactments.

The tour ends near Castel Sant'Angelo, and those who make it to the end receive a "survival certificate".
