It was an absolutely amazing experience with breathtaking views! My excitement — and my body — went sky-high! 😂✨ The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. When I told them I was Japanese, they even spoke to me in Japanese, which was such a nice surprise. When I left the building, they called me by my name, said goodbye, and waved to me. 🥹 I was travelling alone, but thanks to their warm, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere, I never felt lonely. It honestly felt like I was hanging out with friends! They also provided photos and videos of the experience, which I could download for free. That was such a great bonus! And I even got a T-shirt as a souvenir, which made the experience even more memorable. 👕✨ I had a flight later that evening and was travelling with a lot of luggage, but they kindly looked after my bags while I did the SkyJump, which was a huge help. I would absolutely love to come back and do it again the next time I visit Auckland! Highly recommended! 🥹❤️

Highlights

Ride down from 192 m up Auckland's Sky Tower on the SkyJump, seated in a harness attached to a guide wire. It is not a jump: you are secured in a seated harness at the top, then descend straight down for about 9 seconds before a gentle landing. Enjoy the speed without the stomach-dropping free-fall feeling, and you can even ride side by side with a friend or partner. A photo and video package and a Sky Tower entry ticket to visit the observation deck are included.

Ride the SkyJump down
from 192 m on the Sky Tower

The SkyJump is a wire-guided descent from 192 m (630 ft) on the Sky Tower in downtown Auckland. It is not a jump: you are secured in a seated harness at the top and hang there for a few seconds before you set off.

You then drop straight down the outside of the tower at high speed for about 9 seconds and land softly at the bottom. There is no flipping or stomach-churning free fall, just pure speed.

with a friend or partner

Sit side by side in the harness and scream together on the way down, making it a great experience for two. As it is gentle on the body, it suits everyone from young travelers to seniors and couples.

A photo and video package of your ride is included and sent by email right after the experience. All photos and videos are shot in portrait mode on the latest iPhone.

With the included Sky Tower entry ticket, you can also explore the observation deck and other levels.
