Really good snorkelling/scuba diving tour for the Great Barrier Reef. I highly recommend scuba diving if you haven’t done it before - it was a very fun and safe introduction. We had amazing views of fish/corals!! 🐠🐟 The food on board was delicious. Staff were all friendly and helpful, particularly Marco who led our scuba diving . The photographer (Andi) was also amazing 📸 Just factor in that photos may cost you $40-65 in addition to your ticket. The second scuba dive may also be an additional $60.00. Thanks so much for an amazing experience!

Die Tour war super, vor allem das Tauchen. Lucca war ein super Tauchguide und hat sehr viel Rücksicht auf uns genommen und uns viel unter Wasser zeigen können. Es gab unterwegs noch die Möglichkeit einen zweiten Tauchgang zu machen und der lohnt sich definitiv. Wir haben eine Schildkröte, einen Hai und große Fischschwärme am Riff sehen können.

Great Day out, I think we picked the best provider!🏆Saw so many cool things and they supported me fully to enjoy the experience despite being a weak and unconfident swimmer! If in doubt- hang on to the guide rings and they’ll take you to the best spots! Food was good although no plates were provided so a little tricky balancing snacks on a rocky boat! 🛥️The crew were all friendly and knowledgeable and the marine life presentation was brilliant to explain everything you saw whilst snorkeling! 🐠I would say bring a jumper as even though it was sunny in early October, we were so cold getting out of the water! 🥶

Excellent value for money, staff were super helpful and very welcoming. Lunch was really tasty and your safety was paramount whilst in the sea. The icing on the cake to finish our backpacking trip in Australia :) thanks guys .. !

Program

Head for the outer reef
on a sailing catamaran

After checking in at the Reef Fleet Terminal, depart at 8:00 AM aboard a spacious catamaran. Enjoy morning tea and the ocean views while the friendly crew explains the day ahead. It takes about 2 hours to reach the outer reef.

Snorkel at the best reef of the day

Reef sites are carefully chosen each day based on conditions, with chances to visit famous reefs such as Flynn, Milne, Norman and Hastings. Snorkel straight from the boat or join a guided snorkel tour, and if you booked the diving option, enjoy an introductory scuba dive. Look out for turtles, colorful parrotfish, anemonefish and more.

Enjoy a lunch buffet and marine presentation

Enjoy a chef-prepared lunch buffet of hot and cold dishes, salads and tropical fruit, with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. Between swims, relax on the upper deck or on the bow nets, and learn about the reef in the crew's marine life presentation with plenty of time for questions. After lunch, spend about 1.5 more hours in the water.

Cruise back to Cairns in the sea breeze

On the roughly 2-hour return cruise, enjoy afternoon tea and the sea breeze, and experience the catamaran under sail when conditions allow. Beer, wine, cheese and local snacks are available for purchase at the onboard bar. The tour ends at the Reef Fleet Terminal.
