We had a fantastic day from start to finish. Boat trips were amazing and I had forgotten how beautiful Tangalooma is. The guided snorkeling tour over the wrecks was out of this world. Don’t think we need to travel to Whitsundays for holidays anymore!! Overall, a really wonderful and memorable day trip.

Het snorkelen was erg leuk! Prachtige scheepswrakken waarbij veel mooie kleurrijke visjes leven. Wij hebben helaas geen schildpadden of andere grote zeedieren gezien. Daarnaast kreeg je toegang tot het resort: veel restaurantjes en zwembaden waar je kan liggen.

学生でシュノーケリングを初めてやりました。始めはうまく泳げませんでしたが、だんだん慣れてきました。ウェットスーツを2枚渡されて着るように言われましたが、きつかったので1枚でもよかったと思いました。(2枚着けるように言われて、1枚だけ着ていた人もいました。)泳ぎに少しでも不安があれば、ライフジャケットをつけるとよいと思います。魚が触れる距離にいて楽しかったです。時間も30分から45分ほどでちょうどよかったです。

Die Tour war sehr schön. Beim Schnorcheln haben die Guides sehr aufgepasst, dass es allen gut geht etc. Der Essensgutschein reichte für eine Cola und eine Pizza und auf dem Boot gab es auch ein kostenloses Getränk. Die restliche Zeit auf der Insel war genau passend für den Strand, das Meer und essen. Insgesamt definitiv empfehlenswert.

It was a lovely day, only hindered by the fact it was very windy and the waves made it hard to keep your head under water for very long. Rachel our snorkelling guide was so lovely and was very informative and knowledgeable about the aquatic wildlife. I would recommend the tour

This day trip takes you by high-speed cruise from Holt Street Wharf in Brisbane to Tangalooma Island Resort on Moreton Island. The highlight of the day is a guided snorkel tour of the Tangalooma Wrecks, where 15 sunken ships have formed a reef, with all equipment provided, including mask, snorkel, fins and wetsuit. You can use the resort's pools, restaurants, bars, showers and change rooms all day, and enjoy lunch at the resort outlets with a voucher. In the afternoon, join a ranger presentation on wild dolphins at the Eco Centre to round off your island day.

Cruise from Holt Street Wharf
to Tangalooma Resort

Depart from Holt Street Wharf in Pinkenba, Brisbane, and take a high-speed cruise of about 75 minutes across Moreton Bay. You may spot dolphins or whales from the deck along the way, and one complimentary drink (soft drink, tea, coffee or water) is served on board.

Join a guided snorkel tour of the Tangalooma Wrecks

A 90-minute guided snorkel tour takes place at the Tangalooma Wrecks right next to the resort (30-35 minutes in the water, weather permitting). The reef formed by 15 sunken ships is home to more than 200 species of tropical fish and coral.

After a safety briefing and preparation on land, you'll travel by boat to the wrecks, where experienced guides lead you safely with a support boat. All equipment, including mask, snorkel, fins and wetsuit, is provided, and the tour caters to all levels.

Spend free time using the resort facilities

All day long, you can use Tangalooma Island Resort's pools, restaurants, bars, convenience store, phone charging facilities, showers and change rooms. Enjoy lunch at any food and beverage outlet in the resort with a voucher (up to AUD 25 for adults and AUD 20 for children).

Relax by the pool, sip a cocktail at the bar, or explore the beach and gardens. Visit the Eco Centre to see local marine life or join wildlife programs with eco rangers; depending on the schedule, you may see kookaburra feeding or attend a talk on the local pelicans.

Learn about wild dolphins and return to Brisbane

At 3:15 PM, join the signature presentation "Discover the World of Dolphins" at the Eco Centre and hear about the pod of wild dolphins that visits the shore every night. The ferry departs at 4:00 PM and arrives in Brisbane at around 5:15 PM.
