Get a safety briefing at Clovelly Beach

Meet your guide at the Clovelly free car park for a safety briefing of about 15 minutes. Before entering the water, you learn about the area and the marine life you may encounter, and your guide helps each family member fit their mask, snorkel and fins. Kid-sized flotation aids are also provided so children can start comfortably in the water.

Snorkel the Bronte-Coogee Aquatic Reserve

Spend about an hour snorkelling the clear, calm waters of the Bronte-Coogee Aquatic Reserve. Look for friendly blue gropers, shimmering schools of fish, cuttlefish, rays and nudibranchs, while your guide, who knows these waters well, points out creatures hiding under rocky reefs or in the sand. Guides regularly scout the route based on recent marine conditions.

Every child has a different comfort level in the water, so your guide adjusts the pace and activities as needed and takes breaks whenever your child wants to rest. For adults who want more adventure, weight belts can be provided for duck diving closer to the fish.

Capture memories and relax by the beach

Your guide takes photos of your family while you snorkel. After the tour, you can relax at Clovelly Beach or Gordons Bay, and your guide can recommend the Bondi to Coogee coastal walk and nearby cafes and restaurants.
