Climb to the top of the Harbour Bridge

This BridgeClimb runs only during Vivid Sydney, letting you take in the city in full festival mode from the top of the Harbour Bridge. In 2026, it runs from 22 May to 13 June. Leave the bustle of the city behind as the glittering Harbour Bridge and skyline unfold before you on the way to the summit.

Check in and gear up

Check in at the BridgeClimb Check-in and Visitor Centre in The Rocks. You'll be given a head torch, shell jacket, gloves and beanie to keep you warm. All climbers take a breathalyser test before the climb, and for safety reasons personal items such as cameras and smart glasses cannot be taken onto the bridge.

Climb to the 134 m summit with your Climb Leader

Climb at a relaxed pace in a small group of up to 14 with an expert Climb Leader. Hear about the history of the bridge and Sydney, and from the 134 m summit enjoy 360-degree views of the sparkling harbour, the Sydney Opera House and the city skyline.

Take home a group photo and a cap

After the climb, you'll receive a printed group climb photo and a BridgeClimb cap. The activity ends back at the check-in centre, the meeting point.
