Dieser Ausflug war fantastisch, wir werden dieses Erlebnis niemals vergessen. Der Tourguide Raffael war sehr nett und hat uns auf dem Weg ins Hunter Valley alles erklärt. Die Weingüter waren wirklich toll und wir haben in jedem die unterschiedlichen Weine probieren dürfen. Die Lunch Pause war an einem sehr schönen Golf Club und das Essen war super ... auch dort hatten wir Zeit uns umzusehen. Nach dem Lunch gab es noch einen Stop an der Hunter Valley Cheese Factory... das nächste Highlight. Unglaublich nette Inhaber dieser Factory die uns sehr persönlich den Käse den wir probieren durften erklärt haben. Wir reisen sehr viel, doch diese Tour hat alles getobt ... jedem der auf Wein, Natur, Käse Lust hat, sei dieses Erlebnis empfohlen.

Sehr schöne Tour, viele leckere Weine, das Mittagessen war top. Die Busfahrerin war gleichzeitig auch der Guide und hat alles gut erklärt! Würde ich nochmal buchen 👍

The first winery, Sadler’s Creek was excellent, the others were very good. Lunch was well organised and tasty. Timing was very good, we didn’t feel rushed at all.

Very fun day. Our guide John was personable, informative & interesting. We enjoyed the wineries, lunch at the golf course, and wonderful cheese tasting. This is a good excursion when visiting Sydney.

Program

Get picked up in central Sydney
and head to the Hunter Valley

In the morning, board an air-conditioned minivan at one of 4 designated pickup points in central Sydney. Cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge, travel through the bushland north of Sydney and pass Cessnock and the Hunter Valley Visitor Centre on the way to the wine country around Pokolbin.

Taste wine at family-run boutique wineries

Visit 3–4 family-run boutique wineries run by passionate winemakers. Hear the stories behind wines available only at these cellar doors and taste up to 20 premium wines, including the Hunter Valley's signature Semillon and Shiraz. Your local guide, a keen wine lover, shares their knowledge along the way.

Enjoy lunch by the lake with a glass of wine

Enjoy a lakeside lunch in Pokolbin for about 1 hour. Choose between hot and cold dishes, served with a glass of wine.

Taste cheese at the Hunter Valley Cheese Company

Spend about 45 minutes at the Hunter Valley Cheese Company on a guided tasting of a variety of cheeses made by local artisans. After passing Hunter Valley Gardens and finishing with a final winery tasting, return to the drop-off points in central Sydney via the Hawkesbury River.
