This guided snorkeling tour explores the underwater world of the Bronte-Coogee Aquatic Reserve from Clovelly Beach in Sydney's east. A certified lead snorkel guide takes a small group of up to 8 people and points out the marine life that lives here, such as blue gropers and schools of colorful mado fish. A mask, snorkel, fins and buoyancy aids are included, so there is no gear to bring. You also receive the underwater photos your guide takes during the tour for free.

Meet at Clovelly Beach
for a safety briefing
Meet your guide at Clovelly Free Car Park for a safety briefing of about 15 minutes. Your guide introduces the snorkeling area and the marine life you may encounter, and helps you put on your mask, snorkel, fins and optional buoyancy aid before you enter the water.
Guides are trained snorkel professionals with first aid and CPR training, so even those new to the ocean can start with confidence. As this is a group tour, basic swimming ability is required.
Snorkel the Bronte-Coogee Aquatic Reserve

Spend about an hour in the water exploring the reserve. Rich in biodiversity, it is home to around 600 of Sydney's fish species and other marine creatures. Highlights include friendly blue gropers, colorful schools of mado fish and fluorescent snails. The snorkel route is adjusted based on recent marine activity, and your guide points out fish and sea creatures along the way.
Get your underwater photos and relax at the beach

Throughout the tour, your guide takes photos of you and the underwater scenery, which you receive for free. After snorkeling, relax at Clovelly Beach or Gordons Bay, or walk part of the Bondi to Coogee coastal walk. Your guide can also recommend nearby cafes and restaurants.
※ The tour depends on weather conditions, and the schedule or location may change depending on sea conditions.
※ Marine life lives in the wild, so sightings are not guaranteed.
