Introducing AOAO Aquarium, a special aquarium in the heart of Sapporo. This aquarium is open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, allowing you to visit even late at night. With the aquarium occupying the 4th to 6th floors, it offers a variety of attractions. You can observe various types of marine life, as well as visit the museum shop, bakery, and bar. Introduction to the aquarium's internal facilities

📚CONNECT (4th floor / Laboratory 1, Laboratory 2, Museum Shop)
- Laboratory 1 (Water Circulation Laboratory)
: Laboratory 1 has an artificial seawater production plant. This plant, about 1.6 meters in diameter and 2.7 meters in height, can produce about 3,000 liters of seawater at a time. Salt is added to the plant every day to produce seawater, which is then sent to the exhibition tanks in each zone of AOAO SAPPORO.
- Laboratory 2 (Aquatic Life Research Laboratory)
: This is a space where you can directly observe the biological cultivation work that takes place behind the scenes of the aquarium, such as the reserve tanks for managing the health of the exhibited creatures and the preparation of their meals.

📚SCOPE (5th floor / Nature Aquarium, Library Aquarium)
- Nature Aquarium
: The 'Nature Aquarium,' which is permanently exhibited in Sapporo for the third time in the world after Tokyo and Lisbon, is one of the core exhibitions here. You can observe small creatures living in their natural state in the water where aquatic plants grow luxuriantly.
- Library Aquarium
: This is a space where tanks and books classified like a library are exhibited together. There are observation points written on 43 different tanks of various sizes, so you can learn about the stories of each creature and knowledge about the creatures and their habitats as if you were reading a book page by page.

📚COMMONS (6th floor / Penguins, Plankton Room, Blue Room, Green Room, Bakery & Bar)
- Penguins
: Here, you can observe the dynamic behavior of southern rockhopper penguins, which have the habit of hopping around on two feet, up close.
- Plankton Room
: This is an exhibition where you can observe plankton, which drift in the water because they do not have the power to swim, up close. In 16 different tanks of various sizes, jellyfish and other creatures float leisurely, creating a fantastic space that pulsates with a constant rhythm!
- Blue Room, Green Room
Blue Room: This is an exhibition that recreates the vast ocean world with digital art. Not only is there a large screen about 20 meters wide, but also the floor with a total area of about 120 square meters is projected, allowing you to experience an overwhelming sense of immersion as if you were in the ocean!
Green Room: This is an exhibition space where lush tropical plants grow. With over 20 species of plants, including ficus trees over 2 meters tall, you can vividly feel the unique life energy of the tropics.

Museum Shop, Bakery & Bar

Museum Shop
: At the museum shop located at the entrance on the 4th floor, you can find original goods unique to AOAO SAPPORO. In addition, we plan to showcase a variety of goods depending on the season in conjunction with aquarium exhibitions and events.

Bakery & Bar
: This is a bread bar that sells croissants made with Hokkaido wheat flour, as well as beer, cocktails, and bar menus using local Hokkaido ingredients. You can eat food on all floors of the aquarium, so you can enjoy delicious bread and bar menus while exploring the aquarium.
