Located at 69 degrees north latitude and known as the 'Gateway to the Arctic,' Tromsø's highlight is undoubtedly the aurora borealis.
We introduce an aurora hunting tour with two professional aurora guides. The tour takes place on a bus with a glass roof, allowing you to see Tromsø's shining night sky and the aurora even while traveling. If you encounter the aurora, capture amazing photos with the shining aurora as a backdrop using the tips provided by the guide!
Aurora Hunting Without Worrying About Transportation
The most important things for aurora hunting are comfortable transportation and a professional guide. This tour departs from in front of the Scandic Ishavshotel, and you don't have to worry because experienced guides will provide information based on the day's weather forecast. It basically lasts for 6 hours, but it can flexibly change from 5 to 8 hours. After the tour, you will be dropped off at a hotel in the center of Tromsø.
