The formative beauty of nature 'Abukuma Cave', which has been created over a long period of time, is 600m long, and the area not open to the public is a huge cave reaching 2500m. The number and types of stalactites that can be seen here are said to be the most in the Orient, making it a must-visit travel destination.
In 'Takine Goten', the largest hall inside the cave divided into 3 floors, you can see valuable stalactites that can only be seen here, such as crystal curtains, box work, cave shields, and cave corals up close!

The exploration course is 120m long and takes about 10 minutes. It is a path that later joins the general course, and gives you the feeling of being an explorer and navigating the cave by bending through narrow spaces or crossing log ladders and stepping stones.
Since there are many places with low ceilings and poor footing, we recommend you visit in more active clothing if you want to enjoy this course!

Beautiful garden spread out on the slope
The lavender garden spread out on the slopes of Abukuma Cave has walking trails so you can take a walk freely. From mid-June to early July, about 50,000 lavender plants bloom, and you can enjoy beautiful scenery in other seasons as well. Enjoy a great view with the cave here!
