Special Tofu Dishes

Kiyomizu Junsei Okabeya's main tofu dishes are 'Yudofu' and 'Yuba'. Yudofu is a dish where tofu is lightly cooked in kelp broth, characterized by the sweet taste of the warm tofu itself and the aroma of soybeans spreading.

'Yuba' refers to the film that forms on the surface when soymilk is heated, and you can enjoy the unique texture of Yuba. If you liked the tofu skin in hot pot, you will surely love the chewier and nuttier taste!

Okabeya is located in Kyoto's traditional houses on the way to Kiyomizu-dera Temple. It is in a great location for a pleasant walk, where you can feel good just by walking around after your meal.
