This is also the filming location for 'Something Happened in Bali' and the place where the cliff escape scene from the last scene of the movie 'Papillon' was filmed.

The Kecak Dance, which was a temple ritual dance performed in a trance, was created as a performance by incorporating the legend of the ancient Indian epic Ramayana. The climax is the fire dance in which a possessed dancer climbs onto the fire barefoot!
