The Symbol of Yokohama
Marine Tower
Marine Tower is one of Yokohama's landmarks, built in 1961 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the opening of Yokohama Port by renovating the existing lighthouse. The 10-sided tower is 106m high and has now established itself as a tourist industry, making it an essential travel destination in Yokohama. If the weather is good, you can see Mount Fuji in the distance, so be sure to visit during your Yokohama trip.

Yokohama's Symbol,
Yokohama Marine Tower
Yokohama Marine Tower is a tower built by renovating the existing lighthouse, and the top of the 106m high, 10-sided tower is still used as a lighthouse. The lighthouse's light reaches up to 46km, and it is famous as the highest lighthouse in the world on the ground. The 1st floor is a lounge, the 2nd floor is a store, and the 3rd floor is the Marine Science Museum, which exhibits various materials related to marine products and the ocean.
It is also convenient to travel within Yokohama as it is close to the Landmark Tower, the tallest building in Yokohama at 296m, and Yamashita Park.
The 1st floor has a rest area

There are unique and distinctive shops, including restaurants open from morning to night and Hawaiian-themed goods stores. There is also a nice Italian restaurant with private rooms, giving you a private space.
Introducing the 2nd to 4th floors

On the 2nd floor, there is the Yokohama City Guide Association, and those who wish can receive a general guide to the Yokohama area for a separate fee locally. (Approximately 2,500 to 5,000 yen per guide) There is also an exhibition introducing Yokohama in an easy-to-understand manner, such as photo collections, architecture, history books, and records related to Yokohama. Admission is free, so we recommend you to visit!

On the 4th floor, there is a restaurant called 'THE TERRACE yokohama marine tower', an Italian restaurant that pays homage to traditional Italian cuisine and completes it in a retro style. We use fresh fish caught in the southern sea of Kanagawa Prefecture and provide a menu based on unique Italian cuisine that is particular about local ingredients.
The interior of the restaurant is also decorated as a simple and luxurious trattoria that embodies an Italian restaurant, so you can enjoy an unadorned and casual style.

Marine Tower Observatory on the 30th floor

The Marine Tower Observatory offers a panoramic view of the beautiful port city of Yokohama from an observatory 106m high. On a clear day, you can see Mount Fuji in the distance.
Media Art Gallery

A media art gallery is also available where you can enjoy digital art videos superimposed to further enhance the scenery from the observatory. By actively introducing the works of young artists, we are promoting creative expressions of a new era.
