Hiroshima at a Glance:
Orizuru Tower Observatory
Orizuru Tower is a rooftop observatory and complex commercial facility that opened in 2016. It offers views of Peace Memorial Park and the Atomic Bomb Dome, and on clear days, you can even see Miyajima, a World Heritage Site, and Mt. Misen. Inside, you can experience digital content themed around orizuru (paper cranes) and a paper crane program about peace.
The tower features a spiral slope called 'Sanpo-zaka (Promenade Hill)' that connects the first floor to the rooftop observatory. Along Sanpo-zaka, there's an exhibition featuring the thoughts of nine famous artists on the year 2045, marking 100 years since the atomic bombing. Additionally, there are shops offering local specialties from Hiroshima Prefecture and cafes where you can savor the flavors of various ingredients from Hiroshima.

Experience Unprecedented Views from the Orizuru Tower Rooftop Observatory
The rooftop observatory features a wooden deck and an open-air design without windows, allowing you to fully experience the wind, sounds, and smells of Hiroshima. It's the only place where you can simultaneously view two World Heritage sites: Peace Memorial Park, the Atomic Bomb Dome, and, on clear days, even Mt. Misen in Miyajima.
There's also a takeout-only cafe where you can relax on the gentle slopes of the rooftop observatory, enjoying snacks and drinks while taking in the views of Hiroshima city.
Spiral Slope, Sanpo-zaka

Sanpo-zaka is a 9-story spiral slope on the east side of Orizuru Tower, allowing you to walk up and down from the 1st floor to the rooftop observatory. The length from top to bottom (walking distance) is approximately 450m, and in the center of the spiral slope, there is a winding slide where you can enjoy a thrilling experience by sliding down with a dedicated slide sheet.
Slide sheets are available for both adults and children, ensuring a safe ride. In addition, the west wall features an exhibition of original works by renowned manga artists, making it an attractive space unique to Orizuru Tower where you can actively enjoy climbing up and down.
Orizuru Square: A Place Filled with Wishes for Peace

Experience the paper crane program, which can be said to be the symbol of Orizuru Tower. The Orizuru Wall, filled with paper cranes folded with care by visitors, is completed with the hearts and prayers for peace gathered from all over the world. In addition to folding paper cranes, you can enjoy various digital content while gazing at the Hiroshima skyline through the large windows.
Shop for Local Souvenirs

Shop for a variety of locally loved souvenirs at the Orizuru Tower souvenir shop. It offers Hiroshima's representative specialties, products that can only be purchased in Japan, and new products. Limited-time events selling seasonal ingredients are also planned, so we recommend stopping by the souvenir shop.
