How to Recharge

The Korea Travel Card can be recharged at convenience stores and subway kiosks nationwide.

How to Recharge (Only Cash)
Subway Kiosk: You can recharge as much as you want by placing the card on the unmanned kiosk.
Convenience Store: You can recharge by telling the staff how much you want to recharge.

How to get a refund

You can get a refund at a convenience store by telling the staff how much you want to refund. Refunds are available from KRW 20,000 or less, and the refund fee is KRW 500.

Here's how to pay with the Korea Travel Card, which can be used at famous Korean restaurants, cafes, and public transportation.

When paying for public transportation
Please tap your card on the terminal when paying for public transportation.

When making a general payment
When making a general payment at a restaurant, cafe, etc., insert the card into the card terminal in the same way as when using a debit or credit card.

When checking the balance and canceling the payment
You can check your balance by tapping your card on the mobile app.
When canceling a payment, you will receive a refund coupon from the mobile app, and the canceled balance will be restored.

Notes when charging a coupon
Please do not remove the card from your phone until the coupon has been fully charged.
