Izu Shaboten Zoo
Izu Shaboten Zoo is a zoo where you can see about 120 species of animals, including capybaras, and 1,500 species of succulents. Meet popular capybaras and animals like squirrel monkeys and peacocks! The "Animal Boat Tour" allows you to observe the animals living on and around nine large and small islands in the pond located in the center of the park, offering a very special experience that you can't get at other zoos! Various monkeys such as squirrel monkeys, black-tailed lemurs, brown lemurs, and Geoffrey's spider monkeys will greet you on each island.
