The main exchange locations are the Sapporo Station JR Foreign Language Information Desk and the New Chitose Airport Station JR Foreign Language Information Desk, but more than 75% of travelers exchange at the New Chitose Airport Station JR Foreign Language Information Desk. There are staff members who can speak Korean, English, and Chinese, although they are not always stationed there, and they exchange various pass tickets, including the Hokkaido Rail Pass.

The Sapporo-Noboribetsu Area Pass allows you to use all JR trains from Sapporo Airport and the city to Noboribetsu, south of Otaru.
