Interrail Germany Pass Tips
With the Interrail Germany Pass, you can use high-speed train services and regional trains operated by Renfe. When purchasing your pass, select either a 1st class or 2nd class ticket and the duration that suits your travel plans. Upon purchasing the Interrail Germany Pass, you will receive it within 1 business day.
After receiving your pass, easily plan your travels and reserve your seats using the Rail Planner app.
Activating your Interrail Germany Pass
All Interrail passes are mobile passes, so there's no need to exchange them for a physical ticket; you can use them immediately.
1. Purchase at a discount on WAUG
2. After booking, you'll receive an email with an Interrail activation link within 24 hours.
3. You MUST download the application to use your Interrail Pass. Android Download / iOS Download (Supports Android 6.0 / iOS 10.0 and above)
4. Click the link sent via email, enter your passport number, and your Interrail Pass will be activated through the app.
5. After activation, please enter your desired start date for using the Interrail Pass.
6. Once the start date is entered, reserve your trains according to your travel itinerary within the app.

How To Use
- When booking, you must re-enter the main traveler's information in the 'User 1' field.
- You MUST download the application to use your Interrail Pass. Android Download iOS Download (Supports Android 6.0 / iOS 10.0 and above)
- After booking, you will receive an email with an Interrail activation link within 24 hours.
- You can check and make mandatory seat reservations for your route on the Interrail website. Here
- Click the link sent via email, enter your passport number, and your Interrail Pass will be activated through the application.
- After activation, please enter your desired start date for using the Interrail Pass.
- Once the start date is entered, you can reserve trains according to your travel itinerary within the application.
- The pass must be activated via the application within 11 months of the booking date.
- If you take a train departing in the evening and arrive at your destination the next day, only the departure date is counted as 1 day. (e.g., For a train departing at 7:00 PM on January 2nd and arriving at 4:00 AM on January 3rd, it counts as 1 day on January 2nd.)
- The selected non-consecutive travel days must all be used within 1 month from the start date. (e.g., For a 3-day German Flexi Pass, you must use it 3 times within 1 month from the activation date.)
- Unlimited use is available depending on the selected option. (e.g., For a 15-day Global Consecutive Pass, you can use it anytime within 15 days from the activation date.)
