Take off into the Cape Town sky
with your instructor at Signal Hill
Your adventure begins when you meet your instructor and fellow flyers at Signal Hill. After a briefing from your instructor, you prepare to take off from the mountain slope under a parachute-like canopy. Take a few steps or a short run down the gentle slope, and the wind catches the canopy and lifts you into the air.
Sit in front of your instructor and enjoy free flight
An experienced instructor flies the paraglider while you sit comfortably in front and feel the thrill and freedom of flight. Time in the air is 5 to 20 minutes depending on weather conditions.
Look down on the Atlantic coastline and Cape Town views
From the air, enjoy views of the Atlantic coastline stretching across Lion's Head, Signal Hill, Camps Bay, Clifton Beach, the Waterfront and Robben Island. After the flight, you return to the meeting point where the activity ends. GoPro photos and videos can be purchased separately on site.
