BESTI heard that Park Güell should have an open run when there aren't many people, so I quickly bought a fast-track admission ticket from WAUG! I didn't have to wait in line, so I got in quickly and enjoyed the sights while it was cool! I highly recommend it to anyone who couldn't make a reservation in a hurry or wants to go early in the morning!

Barcelona's Landmark,
Park Güell
The icon of Barcelona, Park Güell, was commissioned by Eusebi Güell, Gaudí's patron. Located high on a hill, it was originally intended as a community for Spain's wealthy, but after Gaudí's death in 1926, it was opened to the public.
Admire Gaudí's unique architectural style, blending nature and organic forms, while enjoying the stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Barcelona's Must-Visit,
Gaudí's Park Güell
Park Güell is a place that anyone planning a trip to Barcelona will have heard of. It is a natural theme park designed by the genius architect Gaudí. Unlike the grand and splendid Sagrada Familia, Park Güell is an architectural masterpiece that maximizes the beauty of nature while incorporating colorful accents.
It's a truly amazing place that harmonizes with nature, showcasing Gaudí's genius. That's why I highly recommend visiting.
Learn More About Park Güell

Park Güell is divided into paid and free zones. The interior is quite large, so it's not easy to see everything in one day. To see the most significant works, I recommend focusing on the paid zone.
Entry to the paid zone is currently through the central square on the back side, which requires a considerable walk. Looking at the map, entering through Zone A and walking to the central square is quite a distance, so I recommend wearing comfortable sneakers.
Starting from the Lizard Sculpture

Do you know the myths about the lizard and sculptures in the central fountain at the park's main entrance? The lizard symbolizes alchemy, and the snake head with bronze horns symbolizes Asclepius, the god of medicine. There's a superstition that touching this snake head brings good luck, so take a photo and touch it!
Park Güell occupies a vast area, so you can find hidden gems everywhere. Enjoy the harmonious landscape of palm trees, nature, and architecture.
Doric Columns

What's unique about the central square are the 86 columns that support it. The upper part of the columns is decorated with four suns made of bottles and stones, which are said to represent the four seasons. It's amazing to see how they came up with this idea.
Fantastic View Point

Face the Spanish coast from the viewpoint overlooking the central square, timed to coincide with the sunset. That scene is exactly the image that comes to mind when we think of Park Güell! Spend a healing time during your trip in this fantastic park covered in colorful hues.
