Specific periods don't require entry to the Super Nintendo World™. However, we encourage you to make an advanced booking on the Universal Studios Japan app for guaranteed admission.

1. Mario Kart: Koopa's Challenge

The world of the famous Mario Kart and various thrilling courses come to life right before you! Get excited to allow yourself to throw shells and rush forward with Mario and Princess Peach to go against the opponents. Experience the world’s first Mario Kart adventure, brought with cutting-edge technology exclusive to the park. Get your heart pumped and enjoy the excitement; the thrill will never stop.

2. Yoshi's Adventure

Hop on Yoshi's back and go venture for treasure-hunting from chasing after Captain Toad! Follow the map the captain accidentally dropped to find the three hidden eggs in all directions. 1. Get a Universal Express Pass!
Skip the line to 4 or 7 attractions — the best way to maximize your stay in the park!

2. Download the official Universal Studios Japan App in advance.
Get the app in English and other languages!

3. Arrive before 8:00 AM for Early Entry.

4. To be safe, bring a printout of your WAUG voucher and Universal Studios Japan Admission Ticket.

5. Bringing in outside food is prohibited.
Bag inspection will be carried out, so please do not hide or bring your food.

6. Please wear comfortable shoes.
Expect to take at least 10,000 steps as you explore the park, so please wear comfortable shoes.

How to Get to Universal Studios Japan:

Universal Studios Japan is far from central Osaka, so please plan your transportation ahead of time.

The recommended route is at Umeda, get on to Osaka Line and JR Yumesaki Line to JR Universal City Station. Please note that the Osaka Amazing Pass cannot be used on the JR line.

Emergency Closure of Attractions

If a specified UEP attraction closes due to maintenance, the park will offer alternate attractions for your enjoyment.
Some attractions may be closed due to maintenance. Maintenance information can be found here.

Attraction maintenance Inforation

• Due to inspections, the attraction will be closed on the following schedule. Please check before use.
• If an attraction subject to the express pass is closed due to maintenance, please select the ride at any other attraction except for the attractions below.
• For details of attractions unavailable, etc., please check the official website.

• 06:00 AM - 06:45 AM is the product update time for Universal Studios products. Reservations will not be made during this time period. If you would like to make a reservation, please proceed before 06:00 AM or after 06:45 AM.
• Reservations can proceed as normal at other times. Thank you for your understanding.

Downloading the App

1. Can I use my voucher only on the specified date?

Yes. The Universal Express Pass is only valid on the designated date.

2. Can I get a refund after my purchase?

No, you cannot get a refund after payment. However, if the ticket is sold out, a full refund will be made automatically.

3. Do I need to print my voucher?

No, it doesn't have to be printed. Simply use the PDF voucher, which is available when you click the Mobile Voucher icon, the fourth icon on the main screen of the WAUG app, and click the Universal Studios Japan product. Scan the QR code on the voucher at the entrance for admission.

4. Can I enter at the same time as my friend? 

To enter at the same time as your friend, a one-time payment is required.

5. When can I get my voucher?

It may take up to 1 hour for the voucher to be issued.


6. Is a refund possible if I couldn't make it due to unavoidable circumstances?

Please refer to below:
(1) Flight cancellation
- Required to submit a cancellation certificate
(2) Illness (limited to diseases that restrict movement, such as flu and covid-19)
- Required to have proof of Medical Diagnosis Report
(3) In relation to family matters
 - Requires submission of family relation certificate and death certificate
(4) Price range change
- If the details of rebooking the ticket are confirmed due to a significant change in the customer's itinerary (it may not apply for sure, and need to check with Universal Studios Japan)
(5) Cancellation due to fraudulent card
- In the case of suspected fraudulent credit card reservations, it may be possible only when there is proof of contact details from the bank or documents or official documents which show the details are suspicious and request cancellation.
