• There is a booking fee required for each reservation (not per traveler). Please add the booking fee to proceed with your reservation.
• After booking, you will receive an email with your Pass number within 24 business hours.
• Download the Eurail/Interrail Rail Planner app (Android | iOS) and enter your Pass Number and last name. (Minimum system requirement for download: Android 6.0 and iOS 10.0) 
• To activate your pass, enter your passport details and choose your first travel day.
• The Eurail Italy Mobile Pass must be activated within 11 months from purchase.

• For travelers entering Italy, visit salute.gov.it to find official information from the Italian government.
• 1st class Passes are valid in both 1st and 2nd class coaches. 2nd class Passes are only valid in 2nd class coaches.
• Groups traveling together can add multiple passes into one device. Once passes are added, they cannot be transferred to another device.
• After activating the pass, select the first date when you will start using the Eurail Pass. You will then be able to search, book, and manage your trips in one place.
• If you board the train departing in the evening and arrive at your destination the next day, it will be counted only for one day of departure. 
• To board inter-country trains that pass through more than two countries, a Eurail Global Mobile Pass is required.  

Age Guidelines

• Adult: 28-59 years old
• Youth: 12-27 years old
• Children: 4-11 years old
• Senior: 60 years and older
• During booking, please provide your age on the first date when you will use the pass. 
• Children under 4 years old travel for free and do not need a Eurail Italy Mobile Pass. You may be asked to sit a child under 4 on your lap during busy times.
• Children aged 4 to 11 travel for free with a Child Pass. A child must be accompanied at all times by at least one person with an Adult Pass. This doesn’t have to be a family member and can be anyone over 18.
• Up to 2 children can travel with 1 adult. For example, when 2 adults are traveling, they can take 4 children with them. If more than 2 children are traveling with 1 adult, a separate Youth Pass must be purchased for each additional child.
• Children under 12 travel in the same travel class as the accompanying adult. The free ticket policy for up to two children will not apply if accompanied only by senior pass holders. 

Unused and non-activated passes can be refundable within 11 months from the booking date. A cancellation fee applies.
No refund on partially used, activated pass.
